Dancer Registration :  Please note that we do not allow dancers to dance in a class level above their age. Any dancer is welcome to dance down a level if they choose.

 

 

Tuition :   There is no registration fee.  Tuition is $45 a month with a yearly $10 insurance fee. Tuition is due the 1st of the month. After the 5th of the month, there is a $10 late fee. No REFUNDS for missed classes. Tuition must be kept up to date in order for the students to participate in class. Cash, debit and check payments are accepted. Please make checks payable to " Luv 2 Dance Studio 1 ". There is a $20 fee for any returned checks.

 

 

Attendance :  Good attendance is key to both individual and class progress. Please notify the studio in advance if you miss class. If a student misses a class, they are invited to attend any class that is their same level during the week. To help avoid injury, students should arrive to class on time for a proper warm-up.

 

Drop-Off & Pick-up:   Students must arrive 5 minutes before class and should be picked up immediately after class. Prompt pick-up is especially important for the last class time of each night. Parents are responsible for supervising all their kids that are not in class while in the dance studio. Please talk to your children about keeping the waiting room and restroom clean.

 

Class Etiquette:  Respect for your teacher and fellow classmates is the number one lesson in dance class. No talking during class. Teachers may ask students to wait in the lobby if they are being disruptive or disrespectful. Students should come to class with a positive attitude, ready to dance!

 

Proper Attire:   All students (except ballet) are required to wear a black Luv 2 Dance Studio 1 t-shirt, black bottoms, such as black leggings or black shorts. Ballet students are to wear a black or pink leotard (tights are optional) and pink ballet shoes with their hair in a high bun. Proper shoes for each class are required. All tap, ballet,  jazz, hip-hop and folklorico shoes must only be worn in the studios. Please write your name on your shoes and all your belongings. Luv 2 Dance Studio 1 is not responsible for lost items.  T-shirts can be purchased at the studio for $15.00. 

 

Bathroom:  Please remind your dancer to use the restroom before class. It is a huge distraction for the entire class when dancers are leaving during instruction.

 

General:  No food, gum or drinks is allowed in the studios (with the exception of bottled water). Snacks/drinks are allowed in the Studio lobby but please keep our Studio clean.

 

Costume Policy:  Parents are required to purchase costumes for recitals through out the year. You will have to purchase one costume per dance that your child is performing in, plus dance tights at an additional cost. Average cost per costume is $60.
